Net Carbs
What's it all about?
Net Crabs---- or is it Net CARBS?!
Either Way... It is a sticky situation
To make labels even more confusing, a new food Category has been created to offset the commercial imbalance that the 'lo carb diets' have created to the food manufacturers. This new food is called the 'NET CARB'.
A NET CARB is the amount of carbohydrate left from the subtraction of the fiber and sugar alcohols. Another new term for this is the 'impact carb'. This is fictional fabricated fuzzy math.
All carbohydrates count equally. Sugar alcohol raises blood sugar. Fiber raises blood sugar. Whole, simple, organic, complex, or natural carbohydrates... it's all the same thing: Sugar!!! Organic Sugar raises blood sugar. Complex carbohydrates raise blood sugar.
